About Us

Every story worth telling starts with an unlikely meeting.

Ours happened in Panama — a city of heat, rhythm, and chance encounters.

Fred arrived with a soldier’s discipline from Saint-Cyr, the resilience of UN missions in Africa, and the sharpness earned in Europe’s pharmaceutical world. Diana brought the restless imagination of Bucharest’s N. Tonitza Art School, a past of underground rock concerts and textile design, and a talent for reinventing the narrative from Israel to Canada to Latin America.

Between late nights and long conversations in our favorite hangouts, we began to see it clearly: in the emerging Panama City's restaurant scene, food, service, and atmosphere were too often treated as afterthoughts. With our European spirit and bon vivant curiosity we wanted to change that — we wanted to create places with soul where every detail mattered, where excellence wasn’t a luxury, but the standard.

Together we transformed La Vespa into Panama’s most loved Italian and fine dining destination, created LOST Urban Beach Club on a forgotten terrace where sunsets became rituals and nights were magic, and brought to life other concepts like Deluca Euro Café Bar and Aromatiq Brunch on Spain’s Costa del Sol.

She imagines. He builds. She crafts stories. He makes them stand. It’s always been a dance of vision and structure, dream and detail.

Now, under F&D, that journey continues. Not to repeat ourselves, but to keep chasing the next daring challenge: turning common or even impossible  spaces into soulful destinations that attract people, press, and profit — while making hearts linger a little longer.

For us, hospitality isn’t an industry. It’s an adventure.
And the next chapter might just begin here, in Bucharest.
